Rise in popularity of electric scooters poses extra dangers around HGVs

Cyclists will be able to get an HGV driver’s view of the road at the FTA’s Managing Freight in London conference next month.

TfL is inviting operators to head to London’s Excel for the fifth Clocs progress exhibition taking place on 23 March.

The FTA has given a cautious welcome to Transport for London’s (TfL)  plans to accomodate the growing number of cyclists in the capital but warned that freight deliveries nust be considered in any new designs.
