New cabotage rules will force more drivers to park overnight in laybys, Logistics UK warns

A strategically important truck stop in Scotland is to close at the end of this month, raising concerns about where HGV drivers can safely park up.

The DVSA has reminded drivers and operators of commercial and public service vehicles that tyres aged over 10 years fitted to front-steered axles will be illegal from 1 February 2021.
